2026 US GP: Bezzecchi leads home Aprilia teammate Martin for 5th win in a row

Marco Bezzecchi won the United States GP to win his fifth race in a row, also breaking the record for most laps led consecutively.

The championship leader got into the lead at the end of lap 1 from the second row of the grid, after Pedro Acosta got the holeshot. Shortly following him through would be his teammate Jorge Martin, with the Aprilias dropping the KTM.

Acosta would finish the race in third, ahead of Di Giannantonio, falling back from pole position after not finishing the sprint

Two riders struggling were Marc Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia, with the Spaniard finishing 5th, struggling after taking the long lap penalty earned in his sprint incident with Di Giannantonio, and Bagnaia falling through the race to finish down in 10th.

Ai Ogura looked set to make it a full Aprilia podium, the Japanese rider pushing his way through the field before a mechanical failure leading to him retiring.

Motogp now has a break due to the Qatar GP postponement, before heading to Jerez next month.
